Troodos is the larger of the two mountain ranges on the island, Mount Olympus, its highest peak soars an incredible 1952 meters above sea level. It is a popular destination during the winter for skiing and sledging, as due to its altitude is covered in snow during the colder months. Troodos is just as popular in the summer as people look to escape the scorching heat, find fresh crisp air and enjoy stunning scenery.
